Geeta Basra, the sensuous, sexy dusky actress was one of the hottest things that graced the year 2006. Though residing in Mumbai, she was born in Portsmouth to her Punjabi parents. Geeta Basra is a filmi gal to the core. Wikipedia states that pretty Geeta Basra loved watching films before she learnt to walk. In fact, her first ever stage performance was when she was barely two years old. Geeta Basra is definitely no stranger to the limelight. Since her childhood, Geeta Basra has been an ardent Madhuri fan. She can dance like her, mime like her..and act like her…(well, we stick to get a hang of the last bit!)

Geeta Basra is no girl who will say that acting was never her priority and it was by sheer luck that she became one. The truth is that she has worked hard to achieve the status she enjoys today. Geeta was determined to be an actress. Geeta came to Mumbai and studied acting in Kishore Namit’s school of acting which has trained stars like Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. Though Geeta did not know Hindi to save her life, she successfully trained herself to perfect the diction.
Sexy Geeta Basra got her debut role in Aditya Dutt’s Dil Diya Hai, courtesy her manager whom she had hired. Geeta gave her best shot but the movie was a flop. Geeta in the year 2007 worked in the movie Train which had some bold scenes for her. The boldness did not pay for the beautiful Geeta who had to face rejection once again.
